The Universe Whispers Back What You’ve Been Silently Dreaming...

It was a regular Thursday evening, and I was dog-tired, making my way home from work. The week had been a whirlwind—deeply impactful, and downright exhausting!   My sister-in-law’s visit stirred something profound within me. She unknowingly taught me a lesson in divine manifestation—yes, the power of speaking things into existence!

We had a hilarious, borderline chaotic experience at the airport. Picture us: packing, weighing, repacking, reweighing—over and over. The previous evening, she kept declaring, “I just know I’m going to be overweight!” And guess what? When we finally arrived at the airport, she was exactly that—overweight. It struck me… our words have weight, quite literally. What we proclaim, especially in the quiet of our worry or the passion of our hope, finds a way to manifest.

Later that evening, still chuckling about the whole ordeal, I received a soul-nudging call from my sister-friend and classmate.  During our heart-felt conversation, she suddenly asked, “Sis, what is the Holy Spirit saying to you right now?” Whew. That question stopped me in my tracks.  Honestly, I laughed and said, “Girl, I don’t even know if I can hear Him right now—I’m just flowing.”

But as we continued sharing our hearts and our work, she casually mentioned her role as a director in a non-profit organization. And just like that—FLASH!  A memory, a divine nudge, a holy reminder surged through me, suffice to say I am the proud owner of a non-for-profit that has still to take flight.  My sister in this conversation reminded me that: 

What I am seeking is also seeking me!!

That conversation, and others I had throughout the week, were like Spirit-sent breadcrumbs leading me back to dreams I had quietly buried, that I was not quite bold enough to pursue.  Earlier in the week, I had talked to my son’s friend about launching a podcast.  Not long after, an old client messaged me—out of the blue—asking if I’d be a guest on her podcast. Coincidence? I think not. It’s divine orchestration. Each moment, each person, each message seemed to echo one thing:

The time is now. Your dreams are alive. Pay attention.

That night, I found myself revisiting my “Life List”—what some call a bucket list. And as I looked over it with fresh eyes, I started pruning the list.  What remained were the things that truly sing to my soul.  Creating sacred space for healing conversations—through a podcast—was one of them.

This post isn’t just about a chaotic airport trip or a fun conversation with friends. It’s about noticing the way heaven whispers through our everyday. Sometimes it’s in a suitcase. Sometimes it’s in a question that jolts your spirit. Sometimes it’s in a conversation that opens an old door you forgot you closed.

 So now I’m listening.

I’m showing up.

And that podcast?

It’s happening.

Because when you whisper your dreams into the universe—even the ones you don’t say out loud—it whispers back.

And sometimes, it shouts.

In this sacred moment—a “Momentary Thought of a Satiated Mind”—I was reminded of four soul-deep truths:

1. God is always speaking. Through the gentle whispers of the Holy Spirit, He answers even our silent groans—those dreams and desires too tender for words.

2. The Holy Spirit will send someone. A messenger to awaken your spirit, to remind you that Heaven is speaking, and to encourage you to pay close attention to life’s unfolding.

3. There is no such thing as coincidence. Every moment is infused with divine meaning.  Synchronicity is Heaven’s way of getting your attention.

4. Be grateful for every connection. Every person in your life carries a divine assignment—whether to teach, uplift, challenge, or guide you closer to purpose.

• What divine synchronicities have you overlooked, thinking they were “just coincidence”?

Adoration

Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on me now…Lord, You are the Light that never dims, the Eternal Flame of Wisdom that guides my every step. Your truth reveals mysteries wrapped in everyday moments.  I praise You for Your brilliance and clarity. You are my Divine Compass and my constant Source.

Confession

Father, forgive me for the times I’ve moved on autopilot—distracted, doubtful, or disconnected. Forgive me for dismissing Your messengers and underestimating Your voice in the small, the ordinary, and the unexpected.

Thanksgiving

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for answering the prayers I’ve never fully spoken—for the whispers You hear, the dreams You remember, and the signs You keep sending. I’m so grateful for the Spirit who brings truth, clarity, and confirmation. Thank You for illuminating my path—again and again.

Supplication

Lord, continue to open my ears to Your whispers and my heart to Your nudges. Reveal Your will to me more deeply. Bless every soul You’ve divinely connected to me. Strengthen, refresh, and inspire them.  Raise us as bold laborers in Your Vineyard of Glory. Teach us to WAIT… PRAY… LISTEN… and MOVE with FAITH.  Help me walk in the fullness of Your Spirit and bear the fruit of Your presence within me.

I ask. I allow. God becomes. And so, it is. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
