NEW: Becoming the Container for God’s Next Move...

Spiritual Alignment. Divine Capacity. Surrender!

I am learning that there’s always something sacred stirring in the invisible.  Sometimes it’s a SHIFT.  On other times it’s a CALL.  Regardless of whether it is a shift or a call, there is always a pouring out of fresh oil.  And with it, the unmistakable whisper from above: “I’m doing a new thing. Can you perceive it?”

            Just a few days ago, during a prayer group my son initiated during the Lenten season, he shared a scripture I’ve read many times before — Isaiah 43:18–19:

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a NEW thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

That morning, one simple word seemed to echo LOUDER with unusual clarity: NEW!!   As a human society we use the word “NEW” almost every day of our waking life — but what are we actually awakening to?  I looked up the Oxford definition of the word NEW and it said: “not existing before; made or discovered recently.”  My spirit needed more. As a student of the Inner Vision Institute for Spiritual Development, I turned to the metaphysical meaning and found that the word NEW is not described on its own, but it is described as:

NEW Birth — A coming into spiritual identity.  A higher state of being where we awaken to the truth that we are like God…one with God.

That lit something in me.  So, I pressed deeper!  In the book of Luke 5:37–39, Jesus offers a metaphor that pierced my soul!

🍇 The Parable of the NEW Wineskin: A Divine blueprint received on TIME with a FRESH mindset…

Luke 5:37-39 Amplified Bible says…

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new [fermenting] wine will [expand and] burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.  And no one, after drinking old wine, wishes for new; for he says, ‘The old is fine.’”

NEW wineskin!!

Right now, I’m standing in a season of resurrection, revival, and radical recreation.  I sense that heaven is asking more of me — not more effort, but more SURRENDER!  A willingness to be re-formed, re-aligned, and re-shaped into a vessel fit for the Divine NEW wine - a container for God’s next move.

In this sacred moment — of a “Momentary Thought from a Satiated Mind”—I am engaging in NEW ways of being.  I am transforming…

• I’m transforming how I think.

• I’m challenging my BS — yes, my Belief Systems — those internal programs that have kept me small, silent, or stuck.

• I’m releasing rigidity and embracing flexibility — so that I can stretch to hold more light, more truth, more God.

• I am BEING a champion of my own intentions.  Exemplifying the thoughts, behaviors, abilities, and habits of the Divine.

• I intend to fully participate in this game called life, in this Divine opportunity to surrender, with an intensified degree of self-love and making self-honoring choices that challenge and overcome the opponents of doubt, fear, lack, and limitation. 

  
  

🔥 Here’s the Truth…

God is ALWAYS doing something new.  The oil is ALWAYS & already flowing.  The wine is being poured.  The glory is breaking forth.

But without transformation, without NEW wineskins, I will miss it — or worse, mishandle it.

Let me say it plainly:

• I cannot carry new glory in old identity.

• I cannot steward new levels with old attitudes.

• I cannot walk into new territory with old limitations.

This moment is your invitation too — not to do more, but to BE more.

The question is not, “Will God pour? ”The question is, “Are you ready to receive the outpouring of NEW wine?”

Here it is — the consecrated key.  God is pouring out NEW wine, but He’s looking for a NEW container!!

    Old mindsets...

    Old habits...

    Old structures...

Old BS…

— These cannot carry what God is pouring out in a NEW season!

And so, the delay  (in answered prayer) I sometimes feel… it’s not denial.  It’s GRACE.  God is PATIENTLY waiting for me to BE what the blessing requires.

💭Now, I invite you to reflect…

• What is the current condition of your wineskin — your spiritual, mental, and emotional capacity?

• What old BS (Belief Systems) need to be surrendered to make space for the new?

• What will it cost you to keep carrying the old?

• Write down 5 (the number of grace) NEW ways of being you are now choosing — and allow yourself to embody them with reverence and POWER.

✨Are you ready to receive the NEW?  God/Source/Creator is not holding back!! ✨

Adoration

Father, Mother, God, Holy Spirit — I stand in awe of Your unfolding glory. You are the author of all things NEW.

Confession

I confess that I have clung to the familiar, but now — with open hands and a willing heart — I embrace the NEW wineskin You are forming in me.

Thanksgiving

Thank You for Your grace, for Your patience, and for Your divine strategy in my life. Thank You for every NEW beginning You’ve tucked into every ending.

Supplication

Create in me a vessel that is flexible, pure, and ready to carry Your glory.  Let me be a channel of heaven’s wisdom on earth.  May all that flows through me point only and always to You.
