RESSURECTION Isn’t Just for Easter… It’s for Tuesday Mornings Too!!

The Momentary Thoughts from a Satiated Mind is a sacred space where Spirit speaks before the fruit ever shows. Where whispers of heaven plant themselves in voice notes and morning commutes and friendly WhatsApp messages. Where prayer calls turn into healing sessions! Oh, and the thought, she’s sometimes that unexpected guest—showing up barefoot, bold, and right on time… even if I’m in yesterday’s sweats and not emotionally ready for company 😅
Let’s rewind to two Christmases ago. My nephew gifted me an Echo (you know, the Alexa box that occasionally thinks it's smarter than you). I barely use her. But on Tuesday morning, as I prepared for my shower-worship service (those are a thing, right?🙈), I asked her to play the song that’s been on repeat in my spirit for weeks. I said, “Alexa, play Kaestrings.” And this pop-rock band came on.
I gasped. “Nooooooo!”
So, I tried again, spelling it out slowly: “K-A-E-strings, Alexa.” And would you believe it? She played a classical melody instead. Bless her robotic heart. LoL
Then, as I turned to side-eye her, the word R-E-S-U-R-R-E-C-T-I-O-N lit up across her screen.
“Oh Emmm Geeee!” I shouted. “Spirit is downloading something!”
And just like that, I was in the middle of a Holy Ghost tech intervention. God speaks beloveds…God Speaks~~
The truth is, the entire week before, I’d been meditating on that word—Resurrection—like a song stuck in my soul, and I didn't know why. My life has become a palette of unlearning, relearning, and learning. And so, in meditating on the word, I was analyzing what resurrection really means to me. Monday night, I’d listened to a podcast where the guest said his ministry is called M633, based on the bible verse Matthew 6:33. As he spoke, I pulled out my Bible to read it myself. The words lingered.
Tuesday morning at work, I opened my Instagram DMs just to scroll for a few. There, from my son, was a reel about marriage. And what sat at the bottom of that reel?
“Matthew 6:33.” Spirit doesn’t play.
No coincidences here. First Resurrection. Now “Seek ye first the Kingdom.” I knew I had to sit with this. Suddenly, a scripture came to mind: “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection…” That was it. That was the key.
Most of us see resurrection as a one-time event—Jesus rising again after being nailed to the cross. Cue, the Easter Sunday hats and hallelujahs. But I needed more than a holiday understanding. So, I looked up Resurrection in the Metaphysical Bible Dictionary, and it hit me:
“Resurrection — The restoring of mind and body to their original, undying state.”
Whewww! I did a happy dance in my chair.
Pair that with “Seek ye first the kingdom,” and I could barely stay in my earthly body. It all clicked. Resurrection isn’t a once-a-year celebration. It’s a moment-by-moment practice. A daily transformation. A deliberate release of the thoughts that pull us into pits of shame, guilt, lack, and fear.
To resurrect is to return to your original God-state—whole, beloved, unapologetically worthy.
It’s the sacred reset button we all need DAILY! Its the return to seeking the Kingdom and it's fullness!
So, how do we resurrect?
We start with the Four A’s of Transformation:
Awareness
Acknowledgment
Acceptance
Action
Because let’s be real. I still find myself nailing myself to the cross some days—dragging my spirit through guilt, pity parties, and good ol’ fashioned self-doubt. You know the moments… when you pause mid-thought and say,
“NoNo… what were you thinking, girl??” 😩
But these are the sacred moments. When I can stop, SURRENDER the thought, and choose again—that’s resurrection.
That’s a real-time, heaven-infused, spiritual comeback. 💫💫
Here’s the thing: Choose a thought based on what you are feeling. And I mean really feeling. Because if you're anything like me, your emotional vocabulary might be… umm, “limited.” And no—“good” is not a feeling. 😅

Let this guide help you name what you're feeling, in order to pin-point why that thought is in your mind so you can transform it into something healing.
Take a moment to look at the Feeling Wheel above. It can help you pinpoint the specific emotion you’re experiencing, based on the thoughts you are thinking, so you can choose a higher thought that actually speaks to your soul—not just your surface.

I invite you to sit with your thoughts. Not in judgment, but in curiosity. Observe them. Ask them questions. And then choose a different thought—choose the one that brings life. Because each time you choose a higher thought, you are resurrecting. Every single time‼️
Remember…
“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2
Resurrection isn’t just Jesus waking up from the dead-on Easter Sunday! It’s you getting up! Rising in consciousness! Returning to the highest version of you!
When you can practice righteous thought (not perfect thought—righteous thought aka the right thought, the right intention, and take the next best appropriate action), you align with God’s presence. You begin cultivating your highest self: aware, intentional, and anchored in divine action.
✨ Your Turn…
What emotion is lingering in your heart right now? Use the feeling wheel to name it.
What thought is fueling that emotion?
Can you choose a different thought?
If not, journal it out. Be patient. The lightbulb will come on!
If yes—celebrate! What is that new thought? How does it feel in your body? That’s your resurrection!
Choosing a higher thought is choosing resurrection. And no—it’s not magic. It’s practice. It’s present awareness. It’s the courage to say, “I can choose to think a different thought, moment-by-moment.”
Each time you choose a better thought, you resurrect into your higher, most holy self.
🙏🏾 I offer this Affirmative Prayer: Resurrecting the Mind, Restoring the Soul
Father, Mother, God… Holy Spirit…
Acknowledgment:
I acknowledge You as the Source, the Center, the All in All. The ever-present Truth, always available, always faithful. I affirm Your sovereignty and the infinite wisdom in Your ways.
Unification:
I accept that I am One with You. I am never separate from Your love, Your mind, Your being. I surrender my thoughts to Your Infinite Intelligence and trust that every question I carry has a divine answer. I walk moment-by-moment in Your wisdom and peace.
Praise and Thanksgiving:
Thank You for the gift of this life, for the power to unlearn, relearn, learn, and transform. Thank You for showing me that resurrection is a choice, not a performance. That I can always return to the truth of who I am in You. Thank You for new thoughts, for divine downloads, and yes—for Alexa too (even if she’s a little tone-deaf).
I ask. I allow. I let it be so. And so, it is.
Amen.
💡 Why Affirmative Prayer?
Because it works on your soul like therapy with a megaphone. It rewires your mind to believe the Truth—even when your circumstances are yelling something else. It’s how you align your words, thoughts, and heart with divine reality.
“Affirmative prayer states confidently and persistently the Truth of our being in the face of all appearances to the contrary.” — Inner Visions Spiritual Sanctuary
🍽️ Food for Thought:
“The symbolic language of the crucifixion is the death of the old paradigm; resurrection is a leap into a whole new way of thinking.” — Deepak Chopra
